Frequently Asked Questions

Are your calculators free to use?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up required, no credit card, no catch. We make money from display advertising, not from charging users or selling leads.

Do you sell my personal information?

No. We don't collect personal information at all — all calculator inputs stay in your browser and are never sent to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Are you affiliated with any insurance company?

No. FreeInsuranceIQ is fully independent. We don't sell insurance, we're not licensed insurance agents, and we have no financial relationship with any insurer. Our calculators are educational tools only.

How accurate are the estimates?

Our calculators use 2026 national average data from publicly available sources including NAIC, IIHS, and industry reports. They're designed to give you a realistic ballpark — not an exact quote. Actual insurance premiums vary by insurer, underwriting criteria, and local regulations. Always get real quotes from licensed agents before making coverage decisions.

How often is the data updated?

We review and update our calculators at least quarterly, and more often when major rate changes occur. Our content team monitors industry data from sources like the NAIC, III (Insurance Information Institute), and state insurance department filings to keep estimates current.

Can I embed a calculator on my website?

We don't currently offer an embed option, but it's on our roadmap. If you're interested, reach out to support@freeinsuranceiq.com and we'll let you know when it's available.
